JumpStart Interventions

JumpStart offers a different type of program; one that approaches behavior intervention from a social skills perspective. Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we infuse a unique social skills profile into individualized programs written by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. We believe that all children have a longing for meaningful and significant relationships with their family and friends and that learning social skills builds a genuine sense of belonging which ultimately springboards self-confidence and learning.

Our programs are designed to decrease problem behaviors while replacing them with skills that have more social significance. Children must learn strategies to use as tools; tools that are focused on their strengths and are based on love, creativity, and patience. We teach new and exciting skills that help children navigate the world and contribute to their family dynamic, social circle, classrooms, and community.

Our Services

What makes JumpStart different is our approach to behavior change using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in combination with a unique social skills profile as the basis for intervention. We specialize in family centered, early intervention services for children and their families and offer a comprehensive treatment style that goes far beyond an Individualized Plan of Care.

Our plans build social skills into all programs to foster meaningful and significant relationships with friends and family. We do this by providing services to children and their families anywhere we are needed. We teach and implement daily in schools, homes, and centers. We go to swimming lessons, horseback riding, and soccer games. We facilitate behavior change at restaurants, grocery stores, and Grandma’s nursing home. Our goal is to promote behavior change anywhere a family needs and everywhere a child benefits.
